A demo can be used with someone on hand to guide it. In a customer trial, setup, daily use and maintenance need to work as agreed. The core function may be ready while the enclosure, charging or installation still needs development.
We assess the changes needed for the intended use. That keeps the batch focused on its purpose, whether that is testing with customers or fulfilling the first orders.
Assembly work affects the unit cost
The cost of a hand-built prototype does not tell you what a production unit will cost. Assembly steps, component availability and testing all contribute. A small design change can reduce work that would otherwise be repeated on every device.
Haksi reviews the design for manufacturing, develops the electronics and software, and plans assembly and testing. We build small batches in-house and arrange larger-scale production with partners.
Use the pilot results to plan the next batch
We review findings from assembly, testing and customer use before planning the next batch. Recurring repairs may call for a design change; feedback on installation may change the enclosure or connectors.
The useful outcome is a clearer view of the remaining work and unit cost. If the product is still changing, another small batch may make more sense than committing to a large order.
